Hello, to our lovely backers! 

Kickstarter is now processing payments and some have failed to go through. You have less than a week to fix these payment issues to ensure you get the tier you selected.  You will know if your payment didn't go through if there's a big red bar at the top of your Kickstarter screen and check your notifications!

We’ve had loads of people discover the project after it ended and we want to give those people a chance to hop on to support this game. This will also give us a chance to continue hitting some more Stretch Goals which I know everyone is very excited about. Please continue to share this game with your friends and in any Discord communities. This will be the last chance for a while to purchase the game at a discount and get backer rewards.

NOTE: We previously believed that Indiegogo supports PayPal, which, sadly, it does not. It does, however, support Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Google and Apple Pay. Sorry for the misinformation! Hope this helps.

Thank you everyone so so SO much. Because of you, we not only funded this game, but we have expanded it to include so many other really fun facets, like village and building customization assets and villager romances. We love how excited you are for Ages of Cataria, and we are so overjoyed to have created such amazing relationships throughout this process. We can't wait to deliver a cozy story-generator game for everyone to enjoy. 

Kickstarter will start processing your payments now; if it should fail for any reason, you will have the next week to complete the payment to receive your reward! 

What's Next?

Surveys!

Everyone will be receiving their BackerKit Surveys where you can select your Steam or Switch Key for the game and you can add on any additional rewards. This will happen TWO WEEKS from now. We will update everyone when this goes out. 

Next Stretch Goal! 

Because of the immense support from you all, we will be launching on IndieGoGo-InDemand! Any funds raised thereof will contribute to the next stretch goals so that we can make this game even BIGGER! We will be sure to let you know when that campaign is live (within the next week). Important: if you know someone (or are someone) who couldn't back the game here on Kickstarter because you don't have a credit card, meet us on IndieGoGo! They accept PayPal. 

Play-testing!

We will be having beta tests next year! If you're interested in being selected to test, join our Discord and/or our mailing list to be notified when these openings are announced. 

Early Access!

We are aiming for Early Access to arrive in June 2023! Technically, Switch does not offer "early access" per se, but we do plan to release the game on Switch at that time.

We will be posting monthly development updates for our community to enjoy in Discord, and we will continue our weekly Twitch streams every Thursday night from 7 - 10 pm EST! We will continue to listen to player feedback and keep everyone updated for the next year, so please stay connected with us!

Romance Stories Stretch Goal Unlocked! 30 Minutes to go!

Romance Stories between villagers will now be implemented into the game! With this stretch goal, villagers can receive new types of quests -- romances! These can range from a cute little picnic outside of town to trying to escape from a dragon while out for a stroll together. These adventures will cement bonds and create interpersonal history between characters, further deepening their stories.

We still have an hour to go! We've decided to unlock one more Stretch! It's a doozy and if we don't hit it don't worry we will continue to add any additional pledges/donations as a contribution toward the goal. Announcing...

Text-Adventure Combat ($120k)! This goal will allow players to embark on more dangerous quests that have a new combat system in place for the text adventure. These quests can create a more heroic story for a certain villager. These quests will also be marked as "dangerous" and are completely optional.

We hit our 100k Stretch Goal: Seasonal Decoration Assets!

AND! We have less than 13 hours left to go on our Kickstarter, so as always, continue to share! Let's keep going! We will keep our Stretch Goals up post-Kickstarter so that any funding we make afterward through the surveys or other crowd-funding efforts will contribute to the game and unlock more envelopes.
